Kontich, 17 February 2025 - Cheops welcomes a new member to its Executive Team: Floris Pelgrims, who joins the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
An experienced financial expert at the helm
With Floris Pelgrims, Cheops brings in an experienced and driven financial expert and CFO. Floris Pelgrims brings extensive expertise and already has an impressive track record in the financial sector. He started his career as a Corporate Finance Advisor at ING, evolving into more financial management roles at Telenet and BESIX Stay, among others, in the following years. Until his recent start at Cheops, Floris was working as CFO at listed ABO Group.
He succeeds Dirk Verbruggen, who as ad interim CFO since April 2023 played a key role in the company's financial and strategic direction and was involved in the successful acquisitions of Drive IT and Nimble.
A shared vision for growth and collaboration
Floris is looking forward to using his expertise and knowledge at Cheops and contributing to the further development of the company. Speaking about his new role, he said:
‘At Cheops, I would like to help shape the ongoing project of the current management and shareholders to continue the development of our company through a combination of organic growth with targeted acquisitions. As in my previous positions, I would like to do so by having the finance team work closely with the various business units.’
